FOR MEDICAL COLLEAGUES – PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATIONS & COLLABORATIVE TREATMENT

I conduct psychiatric evaluations for both medical and psychiatric symptoms. Board-certified in psychiatry and neurology, my evaluations lead to diagnosis, prognosis, and specific treatment recommendations.

Upon my completion of the evaluation, medical colleagues will receive a written, confidential report that addresses the referring chief complaint. If medications are indicated, I will manage the medications and maintain the patient at the appropriate level necessary to achieve treatment objectives.

I am adept at diagnosing and treating mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, eating disorders, substance use, adjustment disorders, and stress related disorders.

I am expert in women’s mental health, evaluating and treating women with infertility, premenstrual disorder, post-partum depression, peri-menopausal and menopausal emotional symptoms, and women who have mental illnesses and want to get pregnant under the supervision of a psychiatrist.

I am also expert in HIV/AIDS psychiatry and focus on medical conditions with psychiatric sequelae.

I am a highly collaborative practitioner who meets the highest professional and ethical standards. I have absolutely no contact with the pharmaceutical industry or their representatives.

In addition, I am fluent in Greek.
